Fragment from the upper part of the front
side of a sarcophagus. A carved line, possibly part of a
frame, separates the epigraphic field from the rougher
surface above it.
The dedication Θεοῖς Καταχθονίοις corresponds to the
Latin funerary formula "Dis Manibus". It is attested in other funerary inscriptions from Deultum and attests the influence of the Latin epigraphic habit.
